Welcome to my portfolio!

Kotomi was born in Japan and living in New Zealand for over 10 years. She is a self taught artist.

She grabbed a pencil and started to draw in 2016 since then drawing is her favourite thing to do.

She draws from the heart, not from the head, using her feelings to guide her imagination. When she feels it, she draws it as a subject.

She loves to use dry materials for her art such as pencils, charcoal or pastels.

Kotomi is an elected artist at the Mew Zealand Academy of Fine Arts ( NZAFA ).

She has received the people’s choice and curators award in 2020.
